Pay Rules
The proper application of payroll rules is critical to timekeeping. ScheduleSource TeamWork Time and Attendance includes a robust rules management system that allows the creation of any number of pay rules. Rules can be applied on an individual basis to fully enforce federal, state or local law, union rules or local organizational rules.
Accruals
Time as recorded into a payroll submission includes all of the time allocated to non-work activities, including paid time off, unpaid leave, maternity/paternity leave, voluntary time off and many other categories. Many of these categories are accrued within the HR system or managed as separate programs. For example, a company may reward employees with compensatory time off for working additional hours.
ScheduleSource fully supports the capture of all time categories for synchronization with accruals, and can integrate directly with HR or payroll systems to ensure that time off requests honor accrual balances.
